5450 ▼a Dr. Arun Kumar Singh is working as an Associate Professor at Department of Pure and Applied Physics, Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur (C.G), India. He received his M.Sc. degree in Physics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India and obtained his Ph.D. degree from School of Materials Science and Technology, IIT (BHU), India. After Ph.D., he joined postdoctoral research work at Graphene Research Institute, Sejong University, South Korea. He got India most prestigious research award, "INSPIRE Faculty Awards" from Department of Science & Technology, India. He also visited many countries for research/collaborative work. He got the many fellowships/awards from different scientific societies of India/Abroad. He has published many research papers in renowned international journals including Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Journal of Materials Chemistry C, Applied Materials Today, Sensors and Actuators-B, and Journal of Applied Physics and also written Book/Book chapters. His research work basically includes materials Science and engineering, organic semiconductors, Nanomaterials including carbon nanotubes, graphene and other two dimensional materials, electronic/optoelectronic devices, and materials for energy conversion and storage. He is members of many scientific societies like American Chemical Society, Materials Research Society of India, Indian Science congress Association, India, Electron Microscope Society of India, Indian Physics Association, India etc. He is also reviewer of many scientific journals. Dr. Ram Sevak Singh is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, OP Jindal University, Raigarh, Chhattisgarth, India. He received his PhD in Physics from National University of Singapore, MTech in Materials Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, and MSc in Physics from Banaras Hindu University. He also served as an Assistant Professor in Physics Department, NIT Kurukshetra, India and as a post-doctoral research fellow in Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences, Bangalore, India, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and National University of Singapore. He has also received prestigious NUS Research Scholarship, Singapore and IETE-CEOT (94) Award (Biennial)-2014, India. He is the member of American Chemical Society, Materials Research Society of India, and the Graphene Council. Dr. Singh has several years of research and teaching experiences in area of Physics and Nanotechnology and has published many research articles in journals of international repute including ACS Nano, Nano Letters, Carbon, Renewable Energy, and Applied Physics Letters and book chapters with Wiley and Elsevier. He is also reviewer of several reputed international journals. His areas of interest include Materials Physics, Nanomaterials including nanotubes, graphene and other two dimensional materials, optoelectronic devices, and materials for sensors, corrosion protection, energy conversion and storage. Dr. Anar Singh earned his M. Sc Degree in Physics with specialization in Solid State Physics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi in 2004. He received Prof. B. Dayal Gold Medal and BHU Medal for securing the highest percentage of marks in the M. Sc. Examination. In July 2006, he joined the Ph. D. program in the School of Materials Science and Technology (SMST), Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. After receiving his Ph.D. in 2013, he joined the Paul Scherrer Institute, Switzerland as a post-doctoral fellow. He also worked as a research fellow at National University of Singapore, Singapore from July 2014 to June 2015. He received Inspire Faculty Award from DST, India in 2015 and joined Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai as Inspire Faculty. In June 2016, he Joined University of Lucknow as assistant professor. He has visited large scale facility centers FRM II, Germany and ANSTO, Australia. He has also been part of Indo-Japanese Science Collaboration Program with Hiroshima University and Tohoku University, Japan. In 2019, he has been offered a visiting research position at University of Johannesburg, South Africa for three years. His research interests are phase transitions in bulk and thin films, crystallography (nuclear and magnetic structures), multiferroic materials, ferroelectrics and piezoelectrics.
